Delivery of Zetacreations toys on it’s way

A new delivery of Dildos by Zetacreations (English / German) is on it’s way. When it arrives, we expect all Zeta toys except Boxie and Kolton to be back in stock.

Impatient?
You can track the shipment if you are eagerly awaiting some toy to get back in stock.

ETA
Usually, we would expect it to arrive in about 10 business days (including customs).
However due to the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic, we need to add a whole MONTH to that estimate.
Then we just have to count, label and sort it for the new stock to be available in our shop (English Shop / German Shop). When that happend, we’ll report here again, so you can place your orders on items that are curretly still out of stock.  

Custom dildos
As always with this manufacturer, we do not offer custom orders to be included in the next shipment because if the long lead-time.

improved tools and statistics

The very transatlantic shipping delays during this pandemic have forced us to often place a new order before the last one has arrived. It also means that more products are out of stock for a longer time until a shipment arrive.
So over the last few days we have improved our internal tools to better cope with both these situations.

Bugs

We are currently experiencing a known issue between the DHL module and the Amazon integration. This means that we have to create the postage for all Amazon orders manually.

Statistics

Statistics is everything.
It determines what we buy and thus how many new products and new product variations we can affort. It also means what products are popular enough to get an additional size or coloring.
Our sales statistics have already handled times when a product was not in stock for the sake of predicting the near future. However it only looked at a given strech of time. We have now improved it to look further into the past if a product was out of stock a lot.
Result:
This means we can spend our money more wisely and not order more stock then we need.

Overlaping orders

We have also added code to better track what orders manufacturers are currently working on, are currently in transit and how lead times are affected by the current pandemic.
Our tools now tell us not only how much of each product we have and we should have to cover the near future but also how many are already ordered and how long „the near future“ must actually be.
Result:
We can allow for customer toys more frequently. Even though we can’t make them arrive any faster, we can ask for customer variations to be ordered along more frequently and with less of a short time window.

Sidewinder restocked

We got a delivery of Sidewinder Creations toys (English / German).
4 of 53 toys are still out of stock but we did place a new order right away.

Bad Wolf restocked


We announved delivery by Bad Wolf (English / German) has arrived.
6 toys are still out of stock but we got a LOT of Wolf Cum Lube.
We’ll place a new order right away to ensure another delivery before the holidays.

Shop outdage fixed

We had a short outage that search and product category listing where empty.

Looks like after an update Elasticsearch crashed (again). :/

We’ll keep an eye on it.

Exotic Erotics restocked

A large deliveries from Exotic Erotics has arrived.
Due to the extra parcel transit times during this pandemic,
the next order has already been placed before this one arrived.

old statistics

Looks the statistics we use to determine what to oders didn’t update for a few days.
The password expired and the script could not access the store API to fetch new data.
Luckily we didn’t place any large orders while this happened.

DHL update

We did a major update of the DHL shipping module in our shop software.
You can now select a DHL parcel station on a nice map
and we are prepared for the next major version of the shop software in a few month.
(We are waiting for a compatible version of a special, German plugin needed to display base prices per 1L/1Kg for bottles of lubricants. A feature required by law.)

Now we will have to wait for the first customer to create orders with the new module, to verify that (bulk) printing and our own extensions are still working as designed. We know that it still does work with orders that already exist.
