General improvements

A lot has happened with the YiffyToys shop. Most of it completely invisible.

Images

Due to a bug in the shop software a LOT of redundant copies of product images have accumulated on the server. Balooning a few hundred megabyte of images into 20 gigabyte.
Fixing this has broken some images we used in categroes as examples for single sizes or single manufacturers. This has been fixed as soon as we noticed it

Invoices

Every now and then people order an item with a quantity > 1.
Being a particularly seldom case in this business. this is easy to overlook during packaging.
We improved our printed invoices to not only contain the barcode of each item but also to highlight all quantities >1 to prevent such mistakes.

One Stop Shop

Because 2021 was a particularly bad year due to shipping delays and materia shortages,
January was the first month for us to work with the OSS VAT rules.
This means for European customers we charge each countrie’s VAT depending on the delivery address. (In the case of Northern Ireland, even depending on the zip code within the destination country. Thanks Brexit!) This also means that each month we need to split up our sales not only into VAT-free exports and EU-sales but into 27 different EU countries and non-EU exports. The invoicing and book keeping has already been prepared. New custom reports help us to get these numbers. More importantly. They help us to verify that the numbers we report are correct.
(The report for OSS happens quarterly but as local VAT is due monthly, we have to do this work every month anyway.)

Sidewinder restocked

We got a delivery of Sidewinder Creations toys (English / German).
Again 2 of 55 toys are still out of stock.

For just a few days after this delivery arrived and before we place our next order right away, it will be possible to order custom variation again. Just contact us via email, stating all the details like colour and firmnes. Then we’ll provide you with a custom product that can be ordered exactly 1 time via the regular ordering process. The only  difference is that it obviously takes longer to ship and we require it to be fully payed right away. Also for custom made products there is no 14 day return period.

New delivery by Exotic Erotics on it’s way

A new delivery of Dildos by Exotic Erotics (English / German) is on it’s way.
(While the last delivery is still in customs.)

We expect it to arrive in 10 business days (including customs). The USPS delays seem to be over. Then we just have to count, label and sort it for the new stock to be available in our shop (English Shop / German Shop). When that happend, we’ll report here again.

Bad Wolf partially restocked


The announved delivery by Bad Wolf (English / German) has partially arrived.
Some remaining toys and many more bottles of Wolf Cum Lube will be shipped to us after the holidays.
This 7 of 27 toys/lubes are still out of stock but we got Wolf Cum Lube and the Bad Wolf sleves (species adaper 😉 ) again.

DHL even more overloaded then normally on Christmas

English

DHL informed us that they are experiencing way more parcel volume then even on a „normal“ Christmas.
They say, that everything they have to transport parcels is moving and there are no spares left to increase capacity.
So everything may be delayed by up to an additional day.

im Folgenden stellen wir Ihnen die wichtigsten Informationen zur aktuellen Bearbeitungssituation in Ihrem Abgangspaketzentrum Lahr zur Verfügung: Leider kommt es aktuell aufgrund von hohen Sendungsmengen zu Einschränkungen an Ihrem Standort. 

Die Bearbeitung von Paketen in Ihrem Paketzentrum verzögert sich momentan um bis zu einen Tag.

Sie können die nächste Einmalige Abholung wieder ab dem 16.12.2021 buchen.

Aufgrund von sehr hohen Verkehrsmengen befinden sich unsere Transportbetriebsmittel momentan nahezu vollständig im Umlauf. Es kann in Einzelfällen dazu kommen, dass sich die Versorgung mit Wechselbrücken, Rollbehältern und weiterem Leergut verzögert oder nur im Tausch stattfindet.

Wir bitten, auftretende Verzögerungen zu entschuldigen.

New DHL prices

We have set up the new DHL shipping prices for 2022 in the shop.
(We have also simplified the process for us to enter the various, shifting Corona-surcharges for individual countries.)
While many international destinations and larger German have become slightly more expensive,
smaller German parcels have reduced in price slightly and the Brexit surcharge for UK destinations has been lowered.
