New delivery by Exotic Erotics on it’s way

A new delivery of Dildos by Exotic Erotics (English / German) is on it’s way.
(While the last delivery is still in customs.)

We expect it to arrive in 10 business days (including customs). The USPS delays seem to be over. Then we just have to count, label and sort it for the new stock to be available in our shop (English Shop / German Shop). When that happend, we’ll report here again.

Custom Dildos:
For a few days now, it will be possible to order custom variation again. Just contact us via email, stating all the details like colour and firmnes. Then we’ll provide you with a custom product that can be ordered exactly 1 time via the regular ordering process. The only  difference is that it obviously takes longer to ship and we require it to be fully payed right away. Also for custom made products there is no 14 day return period.

Andaro the Adventurer (S)

With the latest delivery by Neotori, we have added a smaller version of the Andaro to our lineup. Sadly the delivery was incomplete, so we have very fee of these and the medium sized Andaro is already out of stock. But more will be on their way soon.

Eurofurence (After Dark) Dealers Den

There are some first seating plans for the After Dark Dealers Den at Eurofurence next month.
You can find us on the balcone (the After Dark section) right at the top side.
Given that we sell not just one but many manufacturers, we should be very hard to miss with our shelves and boxes full of toys.

Amazon artificial non-intelligence

We had some trouble with 11 products on Amazon.
We submit products with a very, very detailed „browse node“.
In our case usually
„Health & Personal Care -> Sex & Sensuality -> Sex Toys -> Dildos -> Anal Dildos“
Then Amazon uses that to choose a „product type“.

How it started

The problem was, that for these 11 prducts Amazon has chosen completely inappropriate product types.
Product type: Toy Vehicles
Product type: Animal Cages
Product type: Pet Toys
Product type: Other Shirts
Product type: Plant seeds
Product type: Toy Figures and Playsets

These had the effect that we where asked to enter mandatory information like a „T-shirt size“ for these dildos or they would not be visible.

We contacted the seller support about this.

How it’s going

At first they didn’t understand the issue.

Then they wanted us to tell them what product type to enter. However there is no public list of all product types and Amazon doesn’t display the product type for any correct toys. So we can’t possibly tell them.

Then they claimed „We have determined that the current categorization on the ASIN produces a better customer experience than the requested categorization. As a result, we will not be able to complete your request.

And finally they claimed „Please note that we were unable to determine the correct categorization on this ASIN as the product data and images are inconsistent.„.
Obviously our very-well-done product photos show dildod and not T-shirts, animal cages or plant seeds.

How it ended

Since there was no way to get these products fixed, we where forced to simply remove them from Amazon’s catalog altogether. We will wait until no trace of them is left in Amazon’s system and try to recreate a single one at a later time.

More details in invoice

We changed the VAT settings to display more details in our invoices and during checkout.
This should not change any prices displayed in the shop and it should only have an effect for customers in EU countries other then Germany.

What you may notice is that:

  • out of stock products are displayed again
  • the link to shipping cost next to the product price is fixed
  • a glitch with prices in 100ml not getting a 1l price displayed for a short time is fixed
  • you can now get notified when an out-of-stock product get in stock again
  • the accidentally enabled review-product feature is disabled again. (it caused massive spam issues in the past and we rather spend our time restocking the shop and counting inventroy then deleting spam)

Fixed Paypal

Sorry, Paypal was broken for a few days.
We had a typo in the API credentials.
(After we had to restore a number of configuration entries earlier this week.)

Flurb Me restocked

The recently announced delivery by FurbMe just arrived.
As usual with FlurbMe, everything is back in stock now.
We have also received some new toy that we now need to first make photos of.

New manufacturers page

We have added a better overview of the „deep down -> by manufacturer“ selection page.
It now features the logos of all manufacturers we offer and does not need us to manually update this page each time we add an additional one.

Technical difficulties

We had some issues with an update of the shop software not working out and had to restore from a backup.
Since we do have hourly backups of the shop database, not a single order has been lost and the inventory count should still reflect reality.
